Study: ScoliSMART Reduces Scoliosis Curves
Scoliosis Develops when your brain fails to tell your muscles to correct the spine's posture. A new clinical study found ScoliSMART's treatment (re-training the automatic postural control centers in the brain) successfully stops progression and minimizes curves.
In our study, we saw that 97.3% of curves less than 50 degrees never required surgery, and 9 in 10 curves stabilized or improved!

Understanding Power Analysis
Power analysis is conducted to account for smaller sample sizes. Due to the small sample size in our study (60 patients), we utilized a well accepted statistical methodology called a "power analysis" where the standard margin of error is magnified to exclude "outlier" data that may skew the results. This is a common practice used in many studies with smaller sample sizes.
