(Recommended if the patient lives more than 45 minutes from the treatment center)

The recommended treatment plan option for a scoliosis intervention program is a 1 week “Intensive Care” treatment plan. (Spinal curvatures 25 degrees or less). Intensive care treatment for scoliosis generally provides excellent treatment results, in the least amount of time, and with minimal disruption to the entire family’s daily schedule. It is characterized by 5-10 days of treatment (not including weekends) with each day’s treatment time lasting up to 4-5 hours a day and often 25-30 total hours of treatment over the course of each week. Following the intensive scoliosis treatment plan, the patient will be provided a comprehensive, customized home rehabilitation protocol designed to maintain the gains achieved during the treatment period, promote further gains in the correction of their spinal curvature, and help the patient increase spinal stability during the upcoming periods of growth spurts.
